PANGEIA – A PARTIR DOS IRMÃOS GRIMM

PANGEIA is a sound and visual journey through the universe of the Brothers Grimm in which the stage becomes an imaginary museum of curious objects, through sounds heard with headphones.
The objects refer to the imagery of the fantastic tales, such as the forest full of traps, the magic of the crystal ball or the spells of the bad witch. PANGEIA is a show for young audiences that brings together various languages such as theater, dance and visual arts on the stage, recovering the idea of sixteenth-century Curiosity Offices, which brought together rare objects and artefacts from biology, and are considered precursors of art museums. The collection presented here has fictional outlines: four tables with 200 objects representing each story.
