Workshop Kokedama
Saturday, November 24th, 2018 @ 15:00 - 17:00
€40Derived from the Bonsai technique, adored and developed by the Japanese people in the seventeenth century, the Kokedama technique is generally characterized by the use of a “pot” totally different from the common: the root of the plant is wrapped in moss. The very term Kokedama means ball (lady) of moss (Koke). Behind the construction of a Kokedama prevails the Japanese concept wabi-sabi, which can be translated, very briefly, into the appreciation of imperfection in Nature and acceptance of beauty
Natural.
In this workshop, Rui da FIU – jardins suspensos, teaches us the technique of Kokedama and how to use it. Each student will make a plant that they can eventually take home.
All necessary materials will be included in the workshop.
