Wabi sabi evokes a vision, or rather an aesthetic, of the Japanese world, which is based on the transient nature of things.
The music project Teiuq is rooted into this idea that, thanks to the cooperation with Martina, has found a visual dimension and the exhibition is about this connection between music and images.
The project narrates a travel to India, Laos, Vietnam, Pakistan, China, Cambodia and many other countries in Southeast Asia. There, lots of often random and imperfect sounds have been collected, providing examples of everyday life situations, from which all songs originate. A mix of sounds from the world creates a universe in which ethnic minorities meet contemporary electronic sounds, arranged by the music composition of Fabio di Salvo.
Inside the Fabrica Features Gallery will be shown the silkscreen series printed for the cover album “Wabi Sabi” and all the original frames painted for the video “Treno per Eveyn”.
