W/E CREATE :: Preserve Your Herbs

Join us to create your own personalized selection of organic herbs to dry and preserve for your cooking or herbal teas and infusions. We’ll also be showing you how to make a wild flower & herb butter.
This 90 minute workshop will teach you about a large selection of kitchen herbs and how to harvest and store them, ranging from bay, thyme, oregano and sage, to garlic chives, lemon verbena, parsley, various types of basil and mint, lemongrass, fennel, and lemon balm.
You’ll chose your herbs and prepare a simple cane drying rack to use at home, a bouquet garni for cooking and a herb butter to present delicate herbal flowers.
Set in the private gardens of The Quinta, this workshop will take place overlooking the sea in picturesque Azenhas do Mar, where children can roam freely and securely in nature and explore specially created natural play zones.
