The Most Portuguese Carnival in Portugal. This is how one of the most anticipated and popular events in Torres Vedras is known. The city’s ex-libris takes place every year with great fanfare, welcoming tens of thousands of people and there is no one who can deny its originality and revelry.
With the first event taking place in 1912, the Torres Vedras Carnival is driven by pride in remaining faithful to Portuguese traditions.
