Animals long ago wanted to know the taste of the moon: would it be sweet or salty? They just wanted to taste a little; after all, who never dreamed of tasting the moon?
This was precisely the desire of the animals in this story. They only wanted to taste a little bit, but no matter how stretched they could not touch it. So the turtle had an ingenious idea: “Maybe we’ll all be able to reach it.”
Halfway between the fable and the legend, this story speaks of generosity, solidarity and sharing of dreams.
