FreeThe Muxima Gallery will once again open its doors to the 10th edition of the Secret Women’s Meeting & Cocktail, which will take place on Friday, October 26 at 8pm.
Here we will talk about racism.
Racism – The Invisibles!
The panel of speakers from this 10th edition will be filled by people belonging to civil society movements, such as sociologist and university professor Cristina Roldão, the biologist and one of the founders of Djass – Association of Afrodescendants, Beatriz Gomes Dias, the artist, activist and founder of the NGO Action for Identity, Santiago M’Banda and the accountant and activist Lúcia Furtado, belonging to FemAfro- Association of Black, African and Afro-descendant Women in Portugal.
The Secret Women’s Meeting, spearheaded by activist Myriam Taylor, highlighted by Essence and formerly by Forbes, aims to bring together people from different backgrounds and social and professional contexts in order to stimulate critical thinking as well as dialogue in a space open and secure. Promos with this initiative, share and discuss opinions, facilitating the production of critical thinking and jointly think solutions to combat white supremacy and consequent historical subjugation.
