Pediatric First Aid Workshop

The Pediatric First Aid Workshop is intended for all parents, grandparents or caregivers of children who are concerned with how to prevent and act at risk.
It aims to equip participants with knowledge on the preventive measures of accidents common to infants and children, as well as simple pediatric first aid knowledge and techniques aimed at stabilizing the situation of a child victim of an accident or sudden illness at home or during school/recreation.
Objectives: Raise the level of general knowledge and provide parents/participants with simple first aid techniques in case of an accident and acute illness in the baby and the child;
Methodology: Expository with practical components. The action foresees the participation of the participants.
Trainer: Maria Pires, graduated in nursing. Master’s degree in nursing with specialty in child health and pediatric nursing.
