How many of us miss Grandma’s cooking? …or a home cooked meal, period?! Food is the love language of grandmothers around the world. On Thursday, March 28th, join us for a family dinner, made by the grannies of A Avo Veio Trabalhar. Netos Por Uma Noite is Portuguese for “Grandkids For A Night.” We’re creating a night your tastebuds will never forget, and raising funds for a good cause. Will we see you at our dinner table?

20:00 – A Dinner with Granny that you’ll never forget
Menu
Cocktail: bubbles sangria
Starters: raw cod salad, garden bean rice, Portuguese cheeses and breads
Main: Fish rice with tempura green beans
( vegetarian option: tomato rice with tempura green beans)
Desert: sweet rice, grandmas cake, creme brûlée
A Avo Veio Trabalhar creates a space for older Portuguese women to work on meaningful projects, stay active, and be involved in the community. Their goal is to fill the gap between generations by offering everyone a place where they can meet, discuss and learn from each other. They have outgrown their current space. The funds from this event will go towards building out their new location.
