Encounter with illustrator

Catarina Dias brings us a sample of her works inspired by the poetry of Rumi, Persian Sufi mystic of the thirteenth century.
These drawings have as central figure an animal.
We are not sure if they speak because they are silent.
Without losing their wild nature, they communicate through poetry. It is they who look at us, and they look at us in front, seeming to say quietly “Pay attention …”
