The Best of the World are the Children is a spectacle of music, theater and poetry for children, which aims to awaken, in a playful way, curiosity about the universe of people.
It has a selection of poems (such as Freedom, O Mostrengo, Ibis, the bird of Egypt, among others), biographical facts and curiosities about Fernando Pessoa aimed at small readers and poetically presented through unpublished melodies composed by the duo of musicians: João Afonso and António Lago Pinto. The staging and the scenic space are in charge of António Terra.
Resorting to the use of scenographic elements, theatrical lighting and the magic of narrative and visual sound, we transported the small viewer to the universe of the account. A happy encounter between Childhood and Literature.
