The selection and organization of the contents are in charge of the Centro Nacional da Cultura, which has as its main objectives the promotion, defense and dissemination of the Portuguese cultural heritage, including its systematic registration – the promotion of “cultural tourism” – based on an integrated notion of tourism, environment, heritage and cultural itineraries and the formation of young generations in a sense of global citizenship.
