O Crocodilo ou O Extraordinário Acontecimento Irrelevante

This “Crocodile …” that was inspired by Dostoevsky, has text and staging by Rui Neto … we are released to the beasts as of January 31.

Ivan is devoured by a crocodile. The unusual thing is that it survives, without any scratch, inside the stomach of the exotic animal. All attempts to withdraw from it prove fruitless in the face of the bureaucracies of a country, politically and economically, turned inside out. Finding parallel with the current Portugal and a political, economic and social pertinence, Rui Neto rewrites Dostoyevsky’s story KroKodil, in a spectacle with original live music as a scenic element.
