From texts known as Letter of the Achamento do Brasil by Pero Vaz de Caminha, Letter to the Father of Kafka, Letter to Bosie by Oscar Wilde, Portuguese letters by Mariana Alcoforado and New Portuguese Letters by Maria Teresa Horta, Maria Isabel Barreno and Maria Velho da Costa, among others, blah blah blah, this rejected letter intends to rethink some themes such as feminism, war and postcolonialism in a world where Facebook and twitter are giving letters. On the scene, like, an actress willing to write a letter like the one who talks. As you speak. Accused of sifting through other people’s correspondence, she reflects on the content of some of the letters she has read (improperly, rather than “snapping” in the Instagram or taking selfies). A letter that can be either a speech or an email, without fear of the past and with eyes on the future.
