Mathematics by Montessori pedagogy

The objective of this workshop is to present the main mathematical concepts (from 4 to 9 years) in a concrete and manipulable way, with the help of Montessori materials.
Contents:
– What are the characteristics of Montessori materials?
– How to submit a paper?
– Numbers and counts.
– Operations with pearls, boards and prints.
– Decomposition.
– Fractions: relations and operations.
– Decimal numbers.
– Powers and square roots.
– The sensory area – the binomial and trinomial cube, geometric figures and geometric solids.
The materials that will be presented have been purchased from specialist stores, but we will offer a script with materials that can be built at home in an economical and creative way.
