Based on the DreamWorks animated film, “Madagascar, a Musical Adventure”, it tells the story of a group of inseparable friends who escape their home at the Central Park Zoo in New York and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the extravagant and crazy world of Madagascar.
Alex, the lion, is the king of the urban jungle, the main attraction of the zoo in Central Park, New York.
He and his best friends – Marty, Melman and Gloria, have spent their entire lives in captivity, happy, in front of an admiring public and with regular meals. Not content with the life he had, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and plans an escape – with the help of some prodigious penguins – to explore the world.
Filled with fun and adventurous characters, Madagascar leaves the audience with no choice but to “MOVE IT, MOVE IT”!
