Explore azulejos patterns and create your unique piece of jewelry!
This is perfect for Christmas gift for someone or even yourself.
In this workshop, you’ll create your own earrings, necklace, bracelet or ring.
We’ll start with designing ideas on paper, imagining shapes, colors and patterns inspired by the traditional Portuguese azulejo tiles.
Some fun examples will be provided to help get you started. I’ll then show you how to transfer your design from paper to your chosen tiles using a cross-stitch embroidery technique.
In the end, you will leave with a personalized jewelry piece created entirely by you.
Are you new to designing & embroidering? Then this session is perfect for beginners who have never designed a piece of accessory or worked with a needle.
It’s also for anyone looking for more of a challenge in designing accessories.
We will be hosting at a beautiful space called Nomad Goods. This is a homeware and lifestyle store, cafe and design studio based in the heart of Lisbon.
Duration of the workshop: 3 hours (3pm – 6pm)
The contribution for the workshop is €30 – incl. the materials provided (needles, threads, tiles and metal findings).
