Cool Fish – French/English workshop for kids

Cool Fish was created in order to ease and welcome foreign children, mostly French- and English-speaking, to a new life in Lisbon. This project will also include Portuguese children, so that a space for mutual understanding and acceptance of the other and cultural differences occurs. We demand of children today to become heroes of the plant they inhabit. We want to contribute to this role, by acting upon our own community. Through a safe, multicultural artistic platform, we want to be the gate through which children become inspired and able to achieve everything they dream and set themselves to do.

These workshops include a visual arts project that employs varied materials, from ink to drawing to found natural objects. The themes are related to acceptance, emotion management and self-confidence.
At the end of each session, we use the creations to enact a dramatisation of the themes.
Every child will bring back home a souvenir created within the workshop.

These workshops take place every Saturday, from May the 1st to June the 26th. Price for each session 14€
