Three musicians of different nationalities met in Lisbon and, inspired by their original and close relations with their own instruments, started to perform a unique sound. The result is the B-Even – a trio in which the violin can be fingered like a cavaquinho; the bass can lose one of the strings, the flute can win bold breaths, the bodies turn to percussive instruments.

Formed by the Italian Elena La Conte (flute and voice), German Kristina Van de Sand (violin and voice) and Luso-Brazilian Walter Areia (double bass), the formation of B-Same is now joined by Chiara Pellegrino, special guest concert to happen next Thursday.

The repertoire of the group is composed of classics of the world songbook. A set-list that dialogues with cosmopolitanism without distinction of the Portuguese capital and proposes music without borders.
