Halloween is approaching and I know a lot of international but also local families are wondering if anything is happening in Lisbon…
Portugal, as most of the southern countries in Europe, hasn’t got a recent tradition for Halloween, and usually, they have bank holidays on the 1st and sometimes 2nd of November, that are the days when Catholicism celebrate All Saints (the 1st) and on the 2nd usually people pay a visit to the deaths.
But as usual, globalization has brought all over the world festivities that were unknown and now a lot of people everywhere are looking to celebrate Halloween and get some fun doing Trick or Treat.
I’m in Italy visiting my family and on Thursday we’ll have a big lunch with my entire Mother’s family.
But I selected some events that will happen in Lisbon from October 31st.
