DESCRIPTION:LULLABY PREGNANCY WORKSHOP* and SONG CIRCLE ** \nIn a time where I am becoming a mother again myself I invite you to dive into the world of lullabies with me\, through a Lullaby Workshop for Pregnancy and a Song Circle for Families. \n*LULLABY WORKSHOP for pregnant ladies and partners: \nDear Mothers-to be\,\nthe Lullaby Workshop provides a safe space for you to bond with your baby through the vibration of your voice. \nHumming and Singing to your baby has many benefits\, most importantly to nurture your unique connection with your baby: \n• your voice creates a sound massage for your baby and promotes the baby’s well-being\n• you improve your body awareness and understanding of new body sensations during pregnancy which will help for labour\n* you take the time and space for you and your partner to deepen the bond with your baby and to listen to each other \nDuring the Lullaby Workshop we will begin with some simple voice meditation practices to connect with ourselves and to learn how your voice can help you connect with your baby.\nThen I will guide you to connect with each other as a group and especially in pairs\, supporting each other through purposeful humming and singing to the womb. Maybe a melody will come up that you would like to continue developing at home to sing for your child. DESCRIPTION:We are a global network of free-to-attend antenatal groups\, linked up by social media. \nWe connect pregnant women together to share stories\, expertise and positivity about childbirth. We aim to challenge the epidemic of negativity and fear that surrounds modern birth\, and help change birth for the better. We want you to join us as we meet up\, link up and shake up birth! \nThe Positive Birth Movement started as a microscopic little egg and now suddenly we find it’s a strong and healthy five year old – it’s funny how these things go. \nWhat began in 2012 as one small meeting in the living room of writer and campaigner Milli Hill\, is now a global network of over 450 ‘real life’ groups\, with a massive social media presence too. What began as a grassroots movement is now in the final stages of becoming a charity. \nAnd we just keep on growing. We think this is because we break down the walls that the so-called ‘birth wars’ try to build between women. We don’t hold any one kind of birth up above another. We’re just concerned with every woman getting the best possible birth experience\, for her\, on that day. \nThere are around 450 ‘real life’ PBM groups around the world\, in 37 different countries. They are completely free to attend and a great place for pregnant women to find information\, support and a sense of community.

Lugares limitados. \nORADORA\nSusana Atalaia\, socióloga\, é investigadora no Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa (ICS-ULisboa) e membro do Observatório das Famílias e das Políticas de Família (OFAP).
