DESCRIPTION:With the blue whale\, the main character of our aquatic spectacle\, we dive deep into the ocean. We meet the marine inhabitants: fishes\, medusae\, seaweed\, and other strange sea creatures. Curious\, the whale dives deeper and deeper\, until it touches the ocean ground\, full of trash – too toxic for the marine animals! The mermaid gets tangled in a lost fishing net and expresses her anger with a furious dance. In search of clean water\, the whale appears again on the surface when a big storm is coming up …  \nWith three musicians and beautiful visual arts on the overhead projector\, we tell this little story about the adventures of a whale. We listen to the wind and the waves and watch the dancing mermaids and stinging jellyfish. The water becomes the central artistic material on the overhead projector and the musicians transform into strange shadow beings in the ocean depths. In interactive moments with the young audience\, we make a “garbage batucada” and experience the sensation of the storm. DESCRIPTION:It is already on January 14th that we will bring a Winter Special to Estrela\, the first Winter Fair of our Parish. \nWe want you to go out safely and that’s why we created this space for you\, reminding you that it feels good to go out\, especially when big surprises are available! \nJFE saw fit to develop an initiative that allows the Estrela Community to have spaces for nightlife\, which allow for a healthy coexistence between residents\, establishments\, and customers\, reducing noise in residential areas. It was from this concept that this project was conceived. \nThe Winter Fair will take place in Terraplano de Santos\, next to the Tagus River. \nWe have a lot of entertainment in this privileged place in the city\, at a time when we are all thirsty for fresh air. Come and discover what we have prepared for you at this fair! Bring your children\, parents\, grandparents\, cousins\, uncles\, and friends\, and come see what this Winter Fair has to offer! \nA diversified offer between handicrafts\, regional products\, traditional games\, carousels\, bumper cars and other amusements! \nFrom January 14th to March 13th from 12:00 to 02:00 every day! \nIt should be noted that entry to the Winter Fair is only possible upon the presentation of a vaccination certificate. DESCRIPTION:ON MONDAY 25/04 the schools are closed. \nOn the 25th of April\, Portugal celebrated the liberation from Salazar and the Estado Novo regime.The Revolution that brought that change is called Carnation revolution\, and the music that it is connected with the event is Grândola\, Vila Morena\, which was aired as a signal to initiate the military coup. \nTo celebrate the 48° anniversary of the liberation\, there are various events: \nPortuguese Parliament open for visit\, from 15h00 to 18h00 \nActivities happening in the Palaçete de São Bento Garden from 14h00  \nCelebration at UBBO:\nThe Hood\, a space on UBBO\, prepares a program to celebrate Dia da Liberdade\, with DJ sets\, inspirational talks and exhibitions on the subject. The objective is “to give visibility to emerging artists who insure on topical issues that\, 48 years after the April Revolution\, continue to be active and to make a significant difference”\, is the imprint note. DJessy Tchica\, Kelly Boraschi and Deise Nunes are some of the artists who will be present.

DESCRIPTION:IndieJúnior is a section of IndieLisboa International Film Festival dedicated to young audiences. Its purpose is to actively contribute to the cultural and aesthetic education of children and adolescents through an artistic and ludic experience. It is essentially composed of screenings of films from all over the world\, including animation\, fiction and documentarie. \nPublic\nIndieJunior addresses children from 3 to 15 years old with screenings organized into two branches – Families and Schools – targeting specific age groups: +3 years old\, +6 years old\, +9 years old\, +12 years old and +15 years old. The program is carefully thought\, taking the age of each group into account. \nFamilies\nThese screenings take place on weekends and holidays and include a presentation. Their main goal is to bring together parents and children with activities that enrich both and strengthen emotional bonds. SUMMARY:Vhils — Prisma
DESCRIPTION:Alexandre Farto\, aka Vhils\, presents at maat\, a monumental and unexpected proposal relying solely on video\, which is a language that the Portuguese artist has been exploring more recently. Prisma is an exhibition that consists of a number of images of everyday life in nine major cities: Beijing\, Cincinnati\, Hong Kong\, Lisbon\, Los Angeles\, Macao\, Mexico City\, Paris and Shanghai\, where the artist has carried out\, over the last few years\, important public art works. \nThis large-scale installation\, comprising slow-motion footage projected on screens that transform the museum’s Oval Gallery into a veritable urban labyrinth\, affords the visitor a truly immersive experience\, in a construction that manipulates and distorts the effects of space\, scale and light. \nDeveloped in a global context\, prior to the pandemic crisis\, the installation involves us in banal environments where the individuality of each city\, along with the identity of its inhabitants\, is lost.
