A semi-staged reading of
THE NUTCRACKER AND THE MOUSE KING
Adapted and Directed by Rhyana Blakeley
Our performance of this story, so well known in the ballet version by Tchaikovsky, is based on the original tale, written at the turn of the nineteenth century by E.T.A. Hoffmann. Come and watch a talented cast of young and old bring to life this rich Christmas tale. This event will, of course, include sugar-plum delights and mulled wine, in the Estrela Hall December tradition established by the successes of ‘A Christmas Carol’ and ‘The Night before Christmas’ in recent years.
