The magic of the Kingdom of Natal returns to Parque da Liberdade and opens its doors on December 1st, at 11 am, with a concert by the Conservatório Sons e Compassos.

To the sound of Christmas music, the inauguration will take place with the arrival of Santa Claus scheduled for 11:20 am, after participating in the traditional biker parade departing from the Palace of Queluz and arriving at the Kingdom of Christmas.

During this day and until the 6th of January, fun will be guaranteed with various sports activities, workshops, ateliers and awareness-raising actions taking place in various spaces throughout Parque da Liberdade.
In the catering area, from the 7th to the 11th of December, the SPALD Gym will promote the “Pequenos em Movimento” initiative, with various dance moments for children of all ages.

On Saturday, the 10th of December, the Kingdom will host, at 3 pm, a dance show by the Companhia de Dança Contemporânea de Sintra. On the following day, from 3 pm to 5 pm, it will be the turn of the Conservatório de Música Sons e Compassos to perform with three small concerts in Parque da Liberdade.

This year, the event once again appeals to animal welfare and conscious adoption with the participation of the Municipal Kennel and the Associação Animais de Rua.

Entry to the Kingdom of Christmas is free, but visitors are invited to offer a non-perishable food item, animal feed or blankets. A gesture that will certainly contribute to improving the lives of those who benefit from the support of the council’s social solidarity associations.
