The usual Organic Farmer Market happens every Saturday in the central square. Kids can play in the playgroud while you do your package-free, organic, and local grocery shopping.
For a nice lunch, if the weather is nice, I suggest booking a garden table at Atalho Real, right behind Embaixada: you should also pay a visit inside the Embaixada for great local brands shopping like Isto or FV Concept Store .
