MOTHER’S DAY – Mindful Marbling

To celebrate the mothers and mother figures in our lives, we’ve created a special day of gratitude that combines moments of calm with self-care.

Our guests of honor will join a 2-hour Mindful Marbling workshop, inspired by the ancient Japanese art of Suminagashi, the technique of ink marbling that focuses on water and connectivity with the flow. This calming, creative, and rewarding workshop requires no previous skills or artistic talent and will produce personal artworks that capture a moment in time.

Herbal infusions will be served alongside seasonal fruit, and our space will feature a pop-up shop from sustainable skincare label Herbes Folles, who will also be offering personal 1-to1 consultation.

Whilst mothers relax, children and accompanying adults will be engaged in creating floral-based thank you’s, through a special Wild Flower Crown workshop enabling children to craft gifts for their guardians.

Set in the private gardens of The Quinta, the marbling workshop will take place overlooking the sea in picturesque Azenhas do Mar, while children can roam freely and securely in nature and explore specially created natural play zones. With a little help from Mother Nature herself, join us for a session of creativity to celebrate mums in every form.

Times: Morning Session** 10am to 12pm // Afternoon Session** 3pm to 5pm

Price: ‘Family Ticket’ Adults + 1 child: €45. Sibling discounts available. Select ‘Sibling Ticket’ in ‘add-on’s’ at check-out. All marbling equipment and materials are included within the ticket price, and marbling papers may be taken home.
